WELDING FITTINGS AND BEAMS
Sets of beams, fittings and drawings are placed on moving bogies.

The fabricator first tack welds the fittings on the beam in the position shown on the drawing. An independent 100% inspection is then carried out to check this accuracy. Once approved the fittings are MIG welded, using a procedure approved by Lloyd’s.
